How pay-as-you-go works
You are billed solely for the storage volume you actually occupy, measured in gigabytes per month at the price of the location you selected. Store more, pay more; store less, pay less. There is no base fee, no setup cost, no minimum term and no other charges – neither for backup nor for restore operations. What you see is what you pay.

Retention period (versioning)
Every backup is kept as its own version – optionally WORN-protected: immutable and undeletable until the retention period expires. Several versions therefore exist in parallel – exactly this usage is what the calculator computes.

Common questions about costs
- Are there charges for restoring? No. Restores are included in the price – there are no separate egress or restore fees.
- Is there a minimum purchase? No. You only pay for the volume you actually occupy.
- How is billing done? Usage-based per calendar month. You can see your current volume and costs in the portal at any time.
- Are there better terms for longer-term contracts? Yes. For predictable volumes we offer individual longer-term agreements at better conditions. Simply talk to our sales team – go to the contact form.
